regarding the recent paucity of posts
Sometimes you can't hear yourself think. Sometimes you don't want to hear yourself think.
Beannachtaí na Féile Samhain agaibh go deo. ("bann-ockt-tee nih fail-eh zow-win ah-geev guh djoh") May the blessings of the Festival of Samhain be always upon you and yours.

I have been biking to work, and these days that means coming home in the dark. I have an orange jacket and a lot of flashing lights. The trick-r-treaters figured I was in costume. One of them sang the witches theme from wizard of oz as I pedaled by. So I grabbed some T-paper from a tree that always gets a coat of the stuff at h'ween and I swathed myself in T-paper and started pedaling. The T-paper begins to fall to tatters and stream along behind me. All in all, just the right effect.
